Challenge 2008

This years challenge is a 26.4 km Open Water Swim RACE (!) in Lake Zurich in Switzerland (can be equivalent to 30 pool-km /19 miles dependent on the weather conditions). Which equates to about 1200 lengths of the swimming pool

 An international field of competitors will be competing for the ‘21st International Sri Chinmoy Marathon Swim’ Trophy. I feel my names on it already!

As you can see from the map on the left the race is made that bit harder as we will be swimming up hill!
