running challenges

“It taught me that the further you go the less it is about fitness and the more it is about mental attitude.”

Overveiw

Running a marathon was once the pinnacle of my endurance ambitions and something I found tough to achieve. However rather than be the end of the road it turned out to be the catalyst that ignited a drive to do more.

I soon realised that ,through planning, I could create time to get reasonably fit to try longer distances. It also taught me that the further you go the less it is about fitness and the more it is about mental attitude.
